Mirror

A pattern shows, hides, and comes back either identical or flipped left-right. Call it correctly.

How to play

  1. Study the pattern
  2. After the blank it returns: same or mirrored
  3. Tap your call
  4. 3 lives; patterns grow with your streak

What it trains

Spatial. To answer, you have to flip the remembered pattern in your head and compare, kin to the mental rotation experiments of Shepard and Metzler in 1971, where response times rose linearly with the angle of rotation, as if the mind physically turned the object. Mirror discriminations are the hardest case; even skilled readers confuse b and d under load.

One honest tip

Anchor one distinctive corner. Checking one anchor beats re-checking the whole pattern.
