How to play

- Replay it in order on the keys
- Each round adds one note
- One wrong key ends the run
What it trains
Sequence. Sound you just heard lingers in echoic memory for a few seconds, which is why you can answer what did you say a beat after tuning out. Holding a growing tune takes more: order memory for pitch. Musicians outperform non-musicians here mostly through chunking, hearing phrases where beginners hear single notes.

One honest tip
Hum along during playback, even silently. Motor rehearsal glues pitch order together.
